The 50-Minute Coaching Session
The 50-Minute Coaching Session provides total preparation for your U.S. Visa Interview. Below is a sample agenda, but the session is flexible and we can tailor it to meet your specific needs. For example, we can conduct additional practice interviews or leave more time for questions and answers.
Practice Visa Interview (7 minutes) - The coaching session begins with a practice visa interview. I will conduct the interview exactly as I would conduct one in the U.S. Embassy. During the interview, I will take note of your strengths and weaknesses in interviewing, as well as evaluate your chances for being issued the visa.
Feedback on visa interview (8 minutes) - I will highlight for you which of your answers were the biggest “red flags” for a visa officer that increase your chances for refusal.
Evaluation of your chances for approval (2 minutes) - Taking into account the visa refusal rate for visa applicants in your country along with your life situation, I can provide an estimate on whether your case is likely to be approved or not.
Questions and Answers (7 minutes) - This is the time for you to ask any questions you may have about the U.S. Visa Interview.
Formulation of strategy to strengthen your case (13 minutes) - We will find ways to better communicate each of the “red flag” answers you gave and identify other strong points of your case and how to bring them up naturally at interview. We will discuss what documents you should bring to the interview.
Tips and Tricks (5 minutes) - I will share relevant tips and tricks to improve your chances for being approved. These tips come directly from the perspective of an actual Visa Officer, will be tailored to your specific situation, and are not found online.
Final Practice Interview and Feedback (8 minutes) - Finally, we will conduct one more practice interview to gauge how you have improved and I will offer additional final feedback.
